Woah, We're Going To Ibiza!

Just a quick update from the sunny hills of Ibiza where I'm currently fathoming out how to dress in crazy hot weather! It's a work trip, would you believe it - creating Company's Ibiza issue, out around the start of August.

It's been super fun, interviewing cool case studies and celebs (all will be revealed!) and there's been time to do a bit of tanning too - bye bye ghost-face, if only for a little while! 

Wore this to dinner last night - hair was a write-off so managed to do a pony tail - has taken a while but am finally there!

New Purchase: Topshop Jargon Sandals

Couldn't resist snapping up these gorgeous sandal/boot situations in Topshop on my birthday t'other day! 

They were only £55, which I thought was amazing for my new go-to 'edgy yet easy to walk in' summer heels...

I road-tested them for the first time yesterday and they were amazingly comfy! Always a must in my books... Ooh and another plus, the buckles mean you can get a custom fit? Wide feet? No worries! 

Whaddya reckon? Will you be trying out the sandal/boot look this summer? I recommend! Although the tanline situation *could* get inneresting...

Lookbook Love: The White Pepper Summer 2013

Well it's not exactly looking like summer on the streets of London right now, but I'm fantasising about my summer wardrobe big time thanks to this gorgeously cool lookbook from 'street-style inspired' indie clothing label The White Pepper.

How The Eff Do You Wear A Kimono?

So kimonos are seemingly omnipresent on the high street this summer, but those floaty, floral, folksy garments have been perplexing me a bit... How would one actually wear one? 

I barely ever use Lookbook but it's perfect for exactly these kinds of crises. Y'see, I'm going on a shopping spree today, so have been doing a little preliminary research on how to style certain items to help me work out what to buy! A prepared shopper is a happy shopper. 

Anyhow, from my findings on Lookbook, I'm happy to see there are a good few ways to wear a kimono - think I'll definitely be on the look out today!

My First London Pub Garden Outing!

You know summer's here when you're glugging a lovely fruity cider in a sunny pub garden. Yep, I lost my London pub garden virginity today with my friend Catherine at The Canonbury. It was very special and she was very gentle with me. 

Check me out in my potential new outfit post location! I'm on the slightly ropey roof terrace area beyond our balcony - it needs a bit of TLC but everyone knows a good brick wall is like a blogger's dream location, so it'll do!

We had a Sunday Roast - it was lovely! 

I had a mixed fruit Kopparberg - this shiz tastes like literal jelly! Amazing.

 Then it was onto Pimm's - with a side order of gappy fringe (will be putting an end to that nonsense tonight with some scissors as I cut a new fringe in... Wish me luck!)

The walk home was mostly spent ogling the insanely gorgeous houses round my 'hood that I'll never be able to afford - sob! At least I can look...

And now I'm off to cut my fringe, which could end badly! At least I haven't been drinking Pimm's and Cider today. Oh wait.
